Alma-Q is a combination of three sophisticated laser technologies that provide optimal therapeutic results while maintaining the highest safety standard. They are a Q-switched Nd YAG laser, Long Pulsed Nd YAG laser & Quasi-long pulsed Nd YAG laser. These technologies are designed to treat a variety of skin impurities caused by aging, pigmentation, or spider veins.

The high-power Q-switched Nd YAG laser (Nd: YAG 1064nm and KTP 532 )

This is the perfect medical technology bringing outstanding clinical results in removing natural or artificial pigmentation (such as tattoo ink). It also minimizes any damages to the surrounding tissues and has technologies designed to create a pain-free experience.

The benefit of enhanced depth control

With extraordinary short pulse length and high energy levels (nanoseconds), the Alma-Q brings great clinical results in treating pigmented lesions at different depths. This is especially true for melasma. The high-power Q-switched Nd YAG 1064nm is used to treat deep pigmented lesions, while the 532nm wavelength is used to treat lesions on the skin surface.

Client safety and comfort comes first

The Alma-Q introduces an energy transfer solution with a single pulse and double pulse to provide high effectiveness and maximize safety. With its double-pulse technology, it disperses the laser energy into 2 consecutive pulses. This reduces peak power yet delivers maximum energy of up to 2j/pulse. The benefit is that this radically reduces the potential for damage to surrounding tissue, prevents scarring, and reduces negative pigmentation effects that are seen from less efficient laser systems currently used in Vietnam.

Fractional non-ablative Q-switched handpiece

Is a fractional non-ablative form of laser, using a high-power Q-switched laser to treat skin aging, wrinkles, help tighten and lighten the skin. A feature of Alma-Q is the ability to adjust various depths while still allows a combination of deep and superficial treatment approaches as needed for the treatment process. The deep effect of high energy to the epidermis stimulates the formation of collagen n- especially collagen type 3 – from deep beneath the dermis. It does so without damaging the epidermis and with no or minimal skin irritation. This means there is no need for recovery time.

Quasi-Long Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser

This is the form of laser that generates pulses within 400 microseconds width, at a repetition rate of up to 5Hz for skin rejuvenation and microvascular (spider veins) treatments. Quasi-Long Pulse brings safe results and sub-dermal heating impacts to the dermis. It stimulates new collagen formation and tightens the skin structure. Simultaneously, the extraordinary short pulses generated are ideal for the treatment of small-sized capillaries and spider veins.

Long-Pulsed Nd: YAG Laser: With the greatest advantage from the 1064nm wavelength, Alma-Q also offers the Long-Pulsed Nd: YAG laser for problems related to the blood vessels, such as vascular malformations or deep veins. The extended duration of the long-pulsed 1064nm laser generates enough energy and depth to impact the deep lesions which cannot be reached with short wavelengths.
